CaixaBank brings together women who invest in STEM for its first “Diversity Talks” session held in London

The event focused on women “business angels” in companies related to the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics sectors.

CaixaBank held its first London Diversity talks bringing together women business angels who invest in STEAM. Regina Llopis, WA4STEAM president, moderated the high-level panel discussion held at one of the magnificent galleries of The National Gallery.

Sonia Contera, the second woman only to hold a position in Experimental Physics at the Clarendon Lab, in Oxford, and founder and director of the Oxford Martin Institute of Nanoscience for Medicine; and Esther Rodriguez-Villegas the only female senior lecturer in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering department Imperial College London and founder of the start-up Acurable discussed with Regina Llopis, CEO and founder of Aplicaciones en Informática Avanzada the role of women in #STEAM and the need to increase minorities participation in STEAM studies.
